Hattieann Gilbert (1942-) A fixture on Bermudas bowling teams in the mid-1960s and 1970s,Hattieann Gilbert Nee Morrissette came to international prominence when she was the runner-up at the World Bowling Cup in 1975.She later repeated that feat in 1979.She was described as the life and soul of the World Cup field in field in 1979.She won the Bermuda Womens championship in 1976 and 1978 and won the All-Events title and second in the Ladies Single title at the Tournament of the Americas in 1979.Her friendly demeanor saw her take home the Sportsmanship Award for the Tournament of the Americas in 1979.
