Have I allowed what Ive been through to shut me up?... While reading Acts 5 today verse 40b-42 spoke to me. ...and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. Many times, like in the scripture, the attack comes to try to stop us from speaking in the name of Jesus. The enemy comes and tries to beat us but he knows he cannot win when we SPEAK in the NAME of JESUS. His battle strategy is to shut you up. He cannot steal your power but his moves are strategically placed to distract and discourage you in order to get you to abandon, forget, and reject your power and try to fight in your own strength. But today I want to encourage. DONT STOP! Use your weapon. The power of life and death is in your tongue. Stop speaking about the situation and speak GOD in the situation. No matter what it is, speak to the mountain and tell it to move. You dont have to argue with it. You dont have to fuss at it, you speak to it in the name of Jesus.
