Have a look at the names in the bottom of our Torpy Safety Shelter sign-in book: do you know these vandalising clowns? If so, lets get their names and get to the bottom of this. Its so frustrating that for every 100 of us doing good things for snowmobiling as a sport and the club in general, there are people like this undoing the good and making snowmobilers out to be total jerks. Last year, several people who were tired of this kind of abuse suggested dismantling the safety cabin and removing the headache. Several people (especially me) quickly put a stop to that idea and stepped up to support having a shelter out there. Gustafson Kia and Dylan Gustafson also went above and beyond and stepped up to help us keep the cabin... That said, its really hard to keep justifying the presence of the cabin and defending its presence when it becomes a site for garbage and a party shack. Please share this photo in the hopes that we can a) find the culprits and let them know just how uncool they are and b) spread the message to other users that the snowmobiling community in general is against this type of behavior. Thank you to everyone who helps our little club keep chugging and helps give snowmobilers the reputation they deserve by demonstrating responsible behavior.
