Have a new nickname for my miniature long-haired Dachshund Sunny. As you know, we live out in "the sticks" and went to Chicago this weekend and took Sunny and my Jack-a-Bea Daphne. It was like taking the "country mouse" to the city! They were amazed/frightened at all the cars, people and airplanes (we were right by the airport). When we finally got settled in the hotel and Rob and Cody went to G-Fest, I ordered room service. There was a knock at the door and I opened it. As soon as I did Sunny, whom is as wide as he is tall, squeezed through the very small opening I had made with the door and took off down the hallway towards the exit sign! Me, in my boot cast (remember broken foot.....), ran (more like limped fast) after him and finally dragged him back to the room leaving a trail of pee down the hallway (in case he gets out again, I suppose). His new name is now Harry Houweenie....the Great Escape Artist!
