Have a story to tell you about three new Proverbs dogs... Back on May 31st there was an accident in Bellevue(West Nashville.. near our Petco where we have done adoption events for years.) We feel connected to this community and followed this story. We learned that the accident not only had two people involved, but also three dogs. Initially one dog ran away from the scene and many wonderful Bellevue citizens looked until they found her. The owner, although in a strange town,(from another state) walked the other two remaining dogs to a fire hall and then went on to the hospital. Fast forward to this past week.. The three dogs were at Metro Animal Control and one was not safe as she was so fearful she was not going to make it to the adoption floor. We made an executive decision to pull all three dogs, after all their whole world has been turned upside down. Since then,we have made every effort to get the owner to return our calls and have offered to get the dogs transported back free if he wants them. We have had no reply. So... for now we have this trio boarded at Greymont Kennels. We will now make every effort to adopt these sweet dogs into wonderful homes. Three sweet souls are victims of an accident and alone in a strange city. They need a home. We have had them fully vetted so they are ready to go. Take a look at these faces.
