Have been a fan of the Academy Awards or the Oscars since I read an article about it from a volume of World Book Encyclopedia usually evacuated to our house whenever a strong typhoon would threaten our elementary school somewhere 55 kilometers north of Naga City. Have watched all of the Best Picture-winning films since Wings (1927). Tomorrow will be the 86th Oscars. Rooting for 12 Years A Slave to get the top prize. Forrest Gump (1994) 17. Million Dollar Baby (2004) 18. Slumdog Millionaire (2008) 19. The Kings Speech (2010) 20. Midnight Cowboy (1969) Big fan/follower too of Marlon Brando, Montgomery Clift, Gary Cooper, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Danny Boyle, Martin Scorsese, Dustin Hoffman, Russel Crowe, Jack Nicholson, Audrey Hepburn,The Coen Brothers, Julia Roberts, Daniel Day-Lewis, Philip Seymour-Hoffman, Meryl Streep, Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, and, yes, Leonardo DiCaprio. Hehe.
