Have been asked several times about how to safe guard personal items that you cant afford to lose during a break in. Hide them anywhere that is not the normal. Drawers-Cabnets-Bathrooms-On top of Dresser - under bed are all areas the thief will target first. Small safes can be picked up with ease- unless they are bolted to floor! The chances that your home will be broke in to are still remote- But it only takes 1 time to lose what you cant replace. If you have been a victim of this type crime- Its a violation that is hard to overcome! The invasion is hard on all involved! Camera systems are great - It gives Law Enforcement a huge advantage even when the suspect covers his face- Vehicles are usually spotted on multiple cameras with in the subdivisions. Camera systems can be bought on most any budget- However- If your home is broke in to- You must safe guard the DVR recording device unless you are backed up on a cloud like system. DVRs can be stolen as well a long with your evidence of the crime! Talking with your family and discussing the what ifs- is always encouraged. Having a plan is better than none. TY
