Have been talking to someone who asked about a pay package they were offered and it really wasnt good. I suggested they ask for more and try to keep at least 3 agencies so that they can see the difference in offers and locations. Well, this person doesnt want to offend or hurt her recruiters feelings... Even though this recruiter has continued to offer sub-par pay packages. Because they are friends. Well, I just dont understand that. Im friends with all of my recruiters and they understand that I will shop around and see who has the best offer. If they werent understanding, they wouldnt be much of a friend or recruiter. I dont have them quote the same facilities, because I just think that would be too much conflict and shady on my part, but I will have them quote the same area. I just wish all recruiters could be supportive. I know this is a commission based business, but when you treat your nurses right, they come back to you, if they find out youve been shady, you wont see them again. Just sayin.
