Have been watching The Roosevelts: An Intimate History on PBS -- very interesting stuff! TR was only 60 when he died -- he was such a vibrant, wildly enthusiastic person that one of his contemporaries claimed that death had to sneak up on him or he wouldve fought it -- he died in his sleep. Anyway, there are still 4 more episodes, which I am eagerly awaiting -- Eleanor was such an inspiration to me, personally -- cant wait to learn more about her! Well, my defibrillator is working fine -- just had it checked this morning. Im trying to do more around the house -- cooked dinner the other night with minimal help (polish sausage and cabbage, applesauce and biscuits) -- hadnt made that in awhile -- so good! Last night we had spaghetti, salad and garlic bread and tonight it will be chili dogs with fries (something simple; Shannon had to work, so she wont feel like cooking a big meal). Anyway, can we get ISIS taken care of once and for all? Am sick of these ass-hats and their bullshit -- lets go in, kick ass, then get the hell out! I want us to bring our people HOME!!! Then, lets concentrate on healing our own nation and getting our own ducks in a row! We have so much work to do here at home -- prioritizing people over money would be a start! Peace and love!
