Have just returned from We Will Not Conform event in Valley View. There were at least 70 of us in the theater, watching - and learning more about the juggernaut of Common Core. Glenn Beck did a good job pulling together some of the people who are on the front lines of the battle against Fed-Ed. Heidi Huber represented Ohioans Against Common Core very well; she did us proud! Met the couple who started another anti-Common Core web site, CommonCoreAwarenessProject. Its one of those few areas of agreement between Liberals and Conservatives, the education of our children, and tonights most impressive poll showed that 84% of Americans agreed that the folks making decisions about curriculum should NOT be in Washington, D.C.! Thats a huge number of people who live all over the political map. Common Core is bad for America.
