Have to say that inspite of my disappointment in his administration, I still see that Congress is greatly responsible for some of the areas he came up short in. Future generatons will see that our first black president had the most obstructed congress in history. Before him it was Truman. During Trumans administration the congress became known as the Do Nothing congress because they filibusted his proposals 350 times. We never thought we would see that again in our history but Obama has been filibusted over 700 times. A historical record. The racist republican congress even filibusted bills that were introduced by their own party in the past! America should be ashamed of itself for making history in such an ignoble manner. Electing a black president does not demonstrate tolerance in a society if there exists another plan, as outlined by key congressional members, to obstruct everything he does so that he does not serve another term. This is not a congress that is representing its constituency, its a congress that is hell bent on pushing its party to the head of the pack so that it can act in favor of its lobbyists in the corporate sector. Its also a racist congress and has demonstrated that time and again. This is not the race card. We cant complain about the race card being played when it is so incredibly obvious that racism is motivating ideas. This country will become one where the landscape, politically, socially, and physically, resembles something like the Nazi period during the Third Riech if the Republicans grab absolute power. Only atleast they were Socialist to some degree. Study the rise of Nazism in Wiemar Germany and you will see dangerous similarities with the political landscape here in America. Its creepy. And it can happen to us. Dont give those bastards any more. They have taken enough from this nation and have stuffed their pockets with the American Dream. For the rest of us it will become a nightmare.
