Have you and/or your child enjoyed playing basketball, The Funtown/Splashtown trip or bowling with the Rec this past year? None of this is possible without volunteers. Currently the Acton Rec has 3 members (all of which have full-time jobs and busy children of their own). We are in desperate need of people to join our team. We would LOVE to add more events such as these and to get our soccer back but cannot do it without more volunteers. I personally grew up in this town and none of these things were offered. I would hate to see the Rec Dept fall apart. We meet the 3rd Wed of the month at 7p.m. in the basement meeting room at the Town Hall. There will be no meeting this month due to a basketball game.
