Have you been offered this necklace for sale? The distinctive gold item was stolen during a violent burglary in Peterborough. Two men forced their way into a home in Dunsberry, Bretton, at about 11.30am on Tuesday (October 7) before threatening the occupant, a woman in her 30s. They searched the house and took a gold necklace from her. They then fled. The victim suffered minor injuries in the incident. It was a horrendous ordeal for the victim who feared she would be seriously injured by these men. We believe they had previously been to the house offering gardening work and we would appeal to anyone with information about suspicious men, vehicles, doorstep salesman or rogue traders in the area at around this time to call police.
