It is with great enthusiasm that we would like to invite you to attend the VI Annual DC Dance Challenge & Showcase (DCDC) on October 6th, 2013. DCDC really caters to recognize all yours and their hard work. It will be an exciting, fun and friendly Pro/AM and Amateur dancesport competition in the heart of DC, VA, MD metro area, with single-dance and multi-dance events, in Standard, Latin, Smooth, Rhythm and Club dances, such as Salsa, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Argentine Tango, Bachata and more... . It is also Student Showcase with great setting to show off your latest creations. Hosted at the glamorous Spanish Ballroom, the biggest sprung floor of the US East Coast since 1933. If you have not attended yet, you do not know what you are missing. The attendance on this event is growing so fast we may be completely sold out of entries this year. Here are few things that make DCDC unique and special.... - DCDC continue to implement our dancing scoring and awarding system so all competitors can get better feedback from the judges and get more competitor recognition. - DCDC also offers uncontested heats where dancesport competitors compete only against the dance standards for their level and age group. - There are plenty of good social general dancing for the evening guests. - There are admission tickets discounts for students. - The Spanish Ballroom offers plenty of space for the competitors and proper sprung dance floor, providing comfort and preventing injuries. - DCDC does not split the floor in standard and smooth dances. - DCDC treat all professionals as partners, and all amateurs as honored guests. - DCDC offers flexibility to enter different students in the same level and age group. - The Dancing with the DCDC Stars will make you feel like a TV Star. - You will be in the company of the finest and friendliest dancers in town.
