Have you cleaned your condenser coils lately? Cleaning the condenser coils helps remove the heat from your refrigerator which will keep cool much better. These coils are found on the back of your refrigerator or underneath. The coils should be cleaned every 12 to 18 months and more frequently if you have pets. Use a long handle bristle brush or your vacuum cleaner may work best to remove dirt and fur from the coils. If the coils are on the bottom of the unit, you can access this area by removing the grill or kick-panel located at the front. A flashlight is helpful in this dark area to prevent any possible damage to the fan. Enjoy your summer!
