Have you ever felt like you are a Good person who tries to honor God and, nonetheless, Bad things happen to you? Consider this, at Christmas-time: When the angel told Mary that she would bear the Savior, he told her that God has found favor in you. Because Mary was FAVORED by God, you would think that she would have received special treatment, right? However, Mary was: shunned socially for her pregnancy; forced to ride a donkey several-hundred miles while pregnant; and forced to stay in a barn with animals and birth her child amongst the smells and manure and dirt. She may have been favored, but she DID NOT have it EASY, by any means. No matter what you are facing right now, please dont see it as being out of favor with God. Mary had every right to think that, but she didnt, and she was blessed beyond measure ;-)
