Have you ever felt like you were going to completely - TopicsExpress

Have you ever felt like you were going to completely self-destruct? I have. I went through a time in my life when I felt I was going to breakdown. I was a wreck. If the enemy cant destroy you he will try to get you to destroy yourself. He will try to make you feel so low that you feel as though life isnt worth living. Depression had a hold on me. I felt lost in a fog and unable to see anything clearly. People would tell me I was a good person, but I wouldnt believe them. I had become my worst enemy. I talked so negative to myself in my mind and had begun to hate myself for the mistakes I had made in my life. The turning point came when God found me and His word that I had planted in my heart all those years came alive in me. You are never too low, too lost, too messed up, too depressed, too suicidal, or too far gone for God to reach you. He knows how to find you in a cave, hiding under your pillow, hiding under a rock, hiding behind your profession, and behind the fame. He finds you in that dark place bound by the enemy and gently places you on a solid foundation. He reminds you of who you are in Him. Thats exactly what He did for me. He found me and Im so glad. He assured me that He is the author and the finisher of my faith and whatever pain and heartache I was going through, He had allowed it to deepen my faith in Him and show me a different side of His love. And that it did. No one will ever love you like the Lord. People may say they love you, but Jesus is the only one that lived a sinless life so He could lay down His life for you and be the perfect sacrifice. Thats love. He has never left you and never will. Thats love. He blesses you even when you dont do everything right. Thats love. No matter how dark things may seem in your life or how lost you may feel, He will find you, receive you, love you, refill you and set you in a great place. Thats for sure.
