Have you ever got someone to change their mind or opinion about something by a Facebook conversation? I never have. On the very few issues I know to be true... I think maybe its a process of the other person finding out for themselves over time in spite of my best efforts to help. I mean once a person has made up their mind on something...they are going to try disprove anything you say just to try to win the argument..without giving much thought to what you are actually trying to say. Now days with all the well educated and different philosophies our culture will only rely on what they see and what seems logical to their way of thinking. Its more of a court room philosophy... There must be proof. So how do you explain faith to someone who needs proof? Its an oxymoron. Thats why the Bible says you need to have childlike faith instead of relying on mans knowledge. Gods ways are higher than mans ways but we try figure out God...or the lack there of with what would seem to be logic. Do you believe in God? So what...even the devil believes in God. God created man to have a relationship with him. Adam brought sin into the world and after that, sin has always separated man from Him and the perfect plan he had for us. Sin brought disease, weeds, and disharmony. So why do bad things happen to good people? Sin. Mans sin ruined the perfect plan. God is righteous and just and will not let sin go unpunished. But he gives us a way of escape through his son Jesus who died on the cross for our sin...and rose again. Its that simple .
