Have you ever just had a day where nothing worked out as planned? First we drove up north to an antique auction, it is a monthly thing and we have been there many times...everything we bid on went sky high and so we left with nothing, then Bill was so sweet and decided to take me to the newly opened Hobby Lobby in Mt. Vernon, wouldnt you know that Hobby Lobby is closed on Sunday? So, tho, I give kudos to Hobby Lobby for giving their employees Sunday off to spend with their families and go to church, it was an aggravation after spending nearly $4.00 per gal for gasoline and driving 40 miles one way and then back...We sat in the parking lot for a while and watched dozens of customers try to get in the Hobby Lobby store.we waited to see their reaction....about the same as ours...Then we decided to go to a BBQ place where we always loved to eat, but havent been to it for years....you guessed it..Out of Business...so we finally settled on Long John Silvers. The only real high light of the day was visiting with the very sweet girl at the cash register at Long John Silvers, who apologized for Hobby Lobby being closed, even though it was no fault of hers...and then got to talking about Pinterest and pallet wood projects, really enjoyed her enthusiasm. then she got busy and had to hurry back to work...so that was MY day, hope yours was better! (I really cant complain, I was with my most favorite person in the world, and its always a fun day with him)
