Have you ever sat and wondered, if I had just made this decision instead of that one, how different would my life be now ...? With all of the talk and plans for Summer Lynn going off to college, it has had me thinking/wondering, have I made all the right decisions for the best life possible..? I have come to this conclusion...I have traveled down some pretty dark roads in my life, and I have certainly made my share of mistakes along the way. However, all in all, I have had a pretty blessed life. I have 4 amazing children, 2 beautiful and amazing grandchildren and a husband that works very hard to ensure we have a beautiful home and all the necessities in life. Did I always make the right decision,..No. Do I regret those decisions,..Not if it meant my life being anything less than what it is now! Im grateful for the mistakes I made. It taught me that I am stronger than I would have ever believed, and those mistakes are what helped make me who I am today. Im not rich...I dont live in mansion or drive fancy cars or go on exotic vacations. If there is something I want, I have to set money aside in order to get it the majority of the time. I dont have an exciting career where I get to jet off to exciting new places all the time..I battle pain on an excruciating daily basis, and all of that is just the tip of the iceberg. However, all of that does not blind me to the blessings that surround me daily. My children are happy and healthy. I have a wonderful husband that is not afraid of a little hard work... I work in a place where Im surrounded by the things I love most in this world ( children ) and their families have literally become MY family! I have friends that I know, no matter what, I can always depend on being there for me if I need them...I have a wonderful and loving family that are the the back bone of my very existence, and the cherry on top of it is my sweet precious grandbabies, Eli and Emma Grace ( aka Gracie ). Above all of THAT, I have a strong walk with The Lord! Yes, I could have made different or better decisions in my life, but if it would have changed the place where Im at today, then forget it! Promise me, that when you come to the end of your journey you can say, Ive Lived !!! You only get one shot at this life. Make it the best life possible.
