Have you ever thought about it? Or considered? Every person that dies knows for certain if there is a heaven or hell? Those that endured the hardships, mocking, rejection by the world and were even murdered by it for holding fast the name of Jesus and yet remained faithful to the end now have the reward they were promised and now partake of it fully. They walk the streets of glory with saints through the ages, they walk with Christ and see him face to face. And will do so eternally. Those that have rejected the truth, those that had been pleaded with and cried over to accept what they considered to be a waste of time and foolishness. They too have their reward. The prayers of mothers, fathers, pastors and friends. Their warnings and words will forever weigh on them. For an eternity they will recall being told about Christ, and they will recall how they went on mocking the invitation and opportunity to receive the greatest gift they were ever offered and squandered it for the pleasures of the world that are now a fleeting memory. This too will take place for an eternity. Those that believe will have all those things that hurt them and shamed them wiped away by their fathers hand along with the tears it caused. You wont find this mercy being extended to anyone in hell, they will live with the memory of their choices and the consequences of it forever. They will recall the lost opportunities and the pleas of those that loved them enough to endure their hatred and laughing as they rejected one opportunity after another to avoid the very place they now sit in torment. The weight and memories of it will be enormous knowing the truth they were told of heaven and Gods love, and knowing the truth of what they face is just as real.
