Have you ever thought about what it would be like if our society shared ideas, creativity, art, knowledge without the concern of expectation, success, or money attached to it? I know I have struggled with feeling successful or appreciated in my life by others. Many of us when we share an idea, create a project or own a business feel the pressure to be successful and attach high levels of expectation to it, which can cause fear, anxiety and self doubt. A great example of this is in the music business, if an artist releases a song and it goes #1 it’s a hit and if it doesnt become popular, then its considered a flop; devaluing the creativity and possible message of the song. For me creating and sharing is what feels amazing especially if it inspires or touches someone else. Yes money is important in this world we live in, but it certainly isnt everything and should not define our worth or value or keep us from pursuing our dreams and desires. We are all worthy and deserving of pursuing our passions and whether it is successful in societys terms shouldnt matter. Follow your dreams, reach for stars and share it with others. :)
