Have you ever thought that achieving great things in life, - TopicsExpress

Have you ever thought that achieving great things in life, achieving inner change sometimes seems impossible? Kabbalists explain that only when we realize we can not do nothing but provoke a genuine desire to implement things, do we allow God to step in and help. This is the power of Tevet which begins on Sunday evening. The Kabbalistic calendar is based on lunar cycles, and each month affects us differently. The New Moon is the seed of the month, through which one can control all the events in the coming month. Through awareness, communication and special meditations we can use the energy of the month in order to achieve happiness and satisfaction. I would like to invite you to a special Chanukah connection and Rosh Chodesh Tevet that we are having at The Kabbalah Centre tomorrow, Monday evening (see below). My teacher Karen Berg explains: The gematria of the word גדי is 17, the gematria of the word good (טוב) is also 17, as well as the word sin (חטא). This month has a tremendous amount of light, but in order to access it, we must prepare our spiritual vessel to receive and hold this light. We aim to be open spiritually, to be as kind and as gentle as possible, but if we become reactive and explode when people touch our vulnerabilities, we will fill our vessel which by nature is good, instead with something that is the opposite of goodness. This is the opportunity for transformation that is happening in the month Capricorn. Blessings are available to us this week this because of the light of Chanukah available in the cosmos, and especially as when he enter the month of Tevet, together with Chanukah, there is a special energy force available. Capricorn in Hebrew means cloud, or a screen. To receive the powerful light available for us all, we need to create a vessel to hold that light by putting a screen up to and restricting our reactive nature. The only way to receive the light this month is to be very aware and careful. Capricorn means work, but not the work of a farmer with a pick and shovel. Sometimes working with pick and shovel is a lot easier than putting yourself in the right place spiritually. If you feel you are going to be reactive, move aside for a few minutes. Take a deep breath, move away from the situation - say Im sorry, I can not give you an answer right now, I do not feel like Im fully present. The most difficult thing to do is to leave ourselves for a few seconds. Most problems we experience with other human beings are solved when we try to put ourselves in the shoes of the other person. In those moments we can grow even more than if we were to add an extra hour of prayer for the day.
