Have you ever walked the aisles of Walmart at 5am because you didnt want to go directly home? Well I did and when that happened I came across this movie. The cover looks bland and really doesnt do this movie justice. The roster of names is impressive...with the exception of Paris Hilton. I wrote the name down and when I got home I put it in my DVD queue on Netflix and waited about two months for this movie to arrive. When it did...HOLY SHIT!!!!! This movie exceeded my expectations. It is like the title implies an opera. Comic book art during the overture, Paul Sorvino who is trained in opera and...AND SARAH BRIGHTMAN!!!! This movie has a look all its own and the songs are amazing. The casting is perfect...yes, even Paris Hilton was perfectly cast. Over the past few years this movie has reached a cult status and Im proud to say that Ive converted numerous people to this cult. Youve got to see this movie to know how amazing it is.
