Have you ever wondered why marriages these days are crashing? This is basically because people marry for wrong reasons. The Prophet of Allah (PBUH) says the first thing to be considered before marriage is the deen. It is quite unfortunate today that people marry because of wealth, beauty, etc. Another reason is the fact that people dont do istikhaara (seeking Allahs counsel) before embarking on the journey of marriage. These are very important. Without these, the marriage is in jeopardy. May Allah SWT grant us understanding, ease our task, make us better Muslims and count us among the inhabitants of Jannatul Firdauz. Ameen.
