Have you had this discussion with your kids? I was just discussing with my youngest son, Zachary, how pretty much every move he makes (save maybe using the bathroom/showering....maybe, who knows) can be monitored whether it be the government (NSA), a regular citizen (a camera on every cell phone), his parents (internet activity, etc.), his xBox (kinect is on every xBox One now and I hate that camera on it! It even has face recognition so when my hubby walks into his room it automatically signs him into xBox live!), and many other gadgets that can digitally track you. Anyway, as I was talking to him about it, it depressed the heck out of me because I realized that our poor kids will probably never have any privacy! How sad is that! No wonder our kids are so stressed out! Every single move they make practically is judged or can and will be held against them. When I was a kid, I did some pretty stupid stuff but omygosh can you imagine being held accountable for every single stupid thing you ever did!?! Even at school they are being tracked now with all sorts of data that even we will never know about! I hate Common Core, btw, and we as parents/grandparents must keep fighting for our kids privacy rights! God help us if we dont! :(
