Examples of these would be bad motor bearings, loose fan blades, low out put from capacitors, grounded circuits, loose or burnt wires, open windings, blocked venting, shorted controls, loss of charge, etc. Catching these problems early in the season has real advantages: First you can schedule out the repair, it doesnt have to be fixed during an inconvenient time. Second you can take advantage of better pricing before stocks of parts become less available, or go up in price due to demand. Third operation cost savings, you avoid needless wear on you equipment. Fourth you save money on your utility bill all summer, the renewed efficiency will be seen by lower energy use. Dont forget your air filter. Keeping your filter changed at a minimum of every 90 days will help to keep your indoor blower operating thru the hot days ahead.
