Have you heard of Bowen? A blog article by a lady who had trouble feeding her newborn baby. It was just a few months ago I had the same thing happen in my practice :o) I made an appointment with a lady I found two streets away from me who practiced Bowen Therapy. She spent about 20 minutes with William and me just chatting and doing some very gentle stroking movements on his tummy under his rib cage and on his back under his shoulder blades – and that was all! He visibly relaxed after his treatment and I rushed home to see if he would feed properly for his next feed. And what do you know? He has fed properly on the breast ever since. Absolutely amazing to me. No more screaming, back arching, pain and distress. He now feeds no problems at all!
