Have you heard of the Sojourner Center? They are located here in Phoenix and they serve nearly 3,000 women and children each year who escape violent homes- often bringing nothing with them but the clothes they wear. During the Month of May, we are collecting donations for items they are in need of to support the families they serve. Items in high need right now are Size 4 diapers, twin size sheet sets, towels, and diaper wipes. A complete list of items they are taking is available at the front desk. If each person brings just ONE item to donate, we could provide a donation of over 400 items!!! There is also information on the Sojourner Center and resources to support you, a family member, or friend that may be in a domestic violence situation and unsure of how to get help.
