Have you read of chapter 56. الواقعة in the Holy Quran? إِذا وَقَعَتِ الواقِعَةُ When the Inevitable Event comes to pass لَيسَ لِوَقعَتِها كاذِبَةٌ There is no denying that it will come - خافِضَةٌ رافِعَةٌ Abasing some, exalting others. إِذا رُجَّتِ الأَرضُ رَجًّا When the earth shall be shaken to its foundations, وَبُسَّتِ الجِبالُ بَسًّا And the mountains shall be crumbled, فَكانَت هَباءً مُنبَثًّا So that they shall be as scattered dust وَكُنتُم أَزوٰجًا ثَلٰثَةً And you shall be sorted into three classes, فَأَصحٰبُ المَيمَنَةِ ما أَصحٰبُ المَيمَنَةِ First the companions of the right hand - what will be the companions of the right hand? وَأَصحٰبُ المَشـَٔمَةِ ما أَصحٰبُ المَشـَٔمَةِ And then the companions of the left hand - what will be the companions of the left hand? وَالسّٰبِقونَ السّٰبِقونَ And those foremost (in faith) will be the foremost (in the Hereafter), أُولٰئِكَ المُقَرَّبونَ These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah فى جَنّٰتِ النَّعيمِ In the Gardens of Bliss. ثُلَّةٌ مِنَ الأَوَّلينَ A multitude of those of old, وَقَليلٌ مِنَ الءاخِرينَ And a few of those of later times. عَلىٰ سُرُرٍ مَوضونَةٍ On thrones decorated, مُتَّكِـٔينَ عَلَيها مُتَقٰبِلينَ Reclining on them, facing one another. يَطوفُ عَلَيهِم وِلدٰنٌ مُخَلَّدونَ Round about them shall serve youths of permanent freshness (immortal or never altering in age), بِأَكوابٍ وَأَباريقَ وَكَأسٍ مِن مَعينٍ With goblets and ewers and a cup filled from a pure fountain; لا يُصَدَّعونَ عَنها وَلا يُنزِفونَ They shall not suffer with headache thereby, nor shall they get intoxicated (or exhausted), وَفٰكِهَةٍ مِمّا يَتَخَيَّرونَ And fruits such as they choose, وَلَحمِ طَيرٍ مِمّا يَشتَهونَ And the flesh of fowl and any as they desire. وَحورٌ عينٌ And pure, beautiful companions, كَأَمثٰلِ اللُّؤلُؤِ المَكنونِ The like of the well-preserved pearls: جَزاءً بِما كانوا يَعمَلونَ A reward for what they used to do. لا يَسمَعونَ فيها لَغوًا وَلا تَأثيمًا They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, إِلّا قيلًا سَلٰمًا سَلٰمًا Except the saying, "Peace! Peace!" وَأَصحٰبُ اليَمينِ ما أَصحٰبُ اليَمينِ And the companions of the right hand; what of the companions of the Right Hand! فى سِدرٍ مَخضودٍ Amid thornless Lote-trees, وَطَلحٍ مَنضودٍ And tall trees with clusters of flowers (or fruits) one above another وَظِلٍّ مَمدودٍ And spreading shade, وَماءٍ مَسكوبٍ And water flowing constantly وَفٰكِهَةٍ كَثيرَةٍ And abundant fruit, لا مَقطوعَةٍ وَلا مَمنوعَةٍ Neither intercepted nor forbidden, وَفُرُشٍ مَرفوعَةٍ And exalted thrones. إِنّا أَنشَأنٰهُنَّ إِنشاءً Surely We have created them into a new creation, فَجَعَلنٰهُنَّ أَبكارًا And made them virgins pure, عُرُبًا أَترابًا Loving friends, equals in age, لِأَصحٰبِ اليَمينِ For the sake of the companions of the right hand. ثُلَّةٌ مِنَ الأَوَّلينَ A multitude of those of old, وَثُلَّةٌ مِنَ الءاخِرينَ And a multitude of those of later times. وَأَصحٰبُ الشِّمالِ ما أَصحٰبُ الشِّمالِ And those of the left hand; what of those of the Left Hand? فى سَمومٍ وَحَميمٍ In hot wind and boiling water وَظِلٍّ مِن يَحمومٍ And the shade of black smoke, لا بارِدٍ وَلا كَريمٍ Neither cool nor honourable. إِنَّهُم كانوا قَبلَ ذٰلِكَ مُترَفينَ Surely they were before this made to live in ease and plenty وَكانوا يُصِرّونَ عَلَى الحِنثِ العَظيمِ And they persisted in the great violation (or great sin). وَكانوا يَقولونَ أَئِذا مِتنا وَكُنّا تُرابًا وَعِظٰمًا أَءِنّا لَمَبعوثونَ And they used to say, "What! When we die and have become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be raised? أَوَءاباؤُنَا الأَوَّلونَ "Or our fathers of yore?" قُل إِنَّ الأَوَّلينَ وَالءاخِرينَ Say, "The first and the last, لَمَجموعونَ إِلىٰ ميقٰتِ يَومٍ مَعلومٍ "Shall most surely be gathered together for the appointed hour of a known day. ثُمَّ إِنَّكُم أَيُّهَا الضّالّونَ المُكَذِّبونَ "Then shall you, O you who err and call it a lie! لَءاكِلونَ مِن شَجَرٍ مِن زَقّومٍ "Most surely eat of a tree of Zaqqum, فَمالِـٔونَ مِنهَا البُطونَ And fill your bellies therewith; فَشٰرِبونَ عَلَيهِ مِنَ الحَميمِ Then drink over it boiling water; فَشٰرِبونَ شُربَ الهيمِ "And drink as drinks the thirsty camel. هٰذا نُزُلُهُم يَومَ الدّينِ This is their entertainment on the Day of Requital. نَحنُ خَلَقنٰكُم فَلَولا تُصَدِّقونَ We have created you, why do you not then assent? أَفَرَءَيتُم ما تُمنونَ Have you considered the seed (or what you emit)? ءَأَنتُم تَخلُقونَهُ أَم نَحنُ الخٰلِقونَ Is it you that create it or are We the creators? نَحنُ قَدَّرنا بَينَكُمُ المَوتَ وَما نَحنُ بِمَسبوقينَ We have ordained death among you and We are not to be frustrated, عَلىٰ أَن نُبَدِّلَ أَمثٰلَكُم وَنُنشِئَكُم فى ما لا تَعلَمونَ That We may transfigure you and make you grow into what you know not. وَلَقَد عَلِمتُمُ النَّشأَةَ الأولىٰ فَلَولا تَذَكَّرونَ And certainly you know the first growth, why do you not then reflect? أَفَرَءَيتُم ما تَحرُثونَ Have you considered what you sow? ءَأَنتُم تَزرَعونَهُ أَم نَحنُ الزّٰرِعونَ Is it you that cause it to grow, or are We the cause. لَو نَشاءُ لَجَعَلنٰهُ حُطٰمًا فَظَلتُم تَفَكَّهونَ If We willed, We could crumble it to powder, then would you lament,
