Have you seen/heard the new remake of Do They Know Its Christmas? It was made to help fund U.N. efforts to fight Ebola in West Africa. Its got One Direction, Ellie Goulding, Seal, Bastille, Bono, of course... The remake is astounding, beautiful and terrible, jarring and glorious, in similar proportion but different manner to the original. Such an earnest effort to make it better, but such a dated and paternalistic underlying premise - and yet if it saves lives...
