Have you seen the "Five Facts" on the WorldMark website? Here is a fact for you. Wyndham and the existing board controlled 52% of the votes last year. They controlled the election. As you may have noticed, they are pulling every trick in the book again this year and are apparently using WorldMark resources to do it. I wrote an e-mail to the board asking if other candidates had equal access to Destinations, E-Mail, USPS mail, Websites, Social Media, etc. This was included in the reply I received. "the Board is authorized by statute to expend funds and use its resources to communicate to members in support of those candidates it deems to be the best qualified to sit on the Board. That is an option that, in its discretion, the Board itself is authorized to exercise without having to offer the use of similar resources to all candidates. " I, along with many owners are not happy with the way that suspiciously timed resignations and appointments are made to the board, the fairness in how they are handling the elections, and the misinformation and scare tactics that are being deployed.
