Have you seen this glyphosate/autism article floating around - TopicsExpress

Have you seen this glyphosate/autism article floating around today? This is more research done by Stephanie Seneff. If you read my post about glyphosate and wheat, youll remember what I have to say about her: Stephanie Seneff is a very well known anti-GMO proponent, whom I’ve read about a lot in the last year. One of the reasons why my red flag goes up when Senneff’s name is behind research is that she’s a senior research scientist at the computer science and artificial intelligence lab at MIT with biophysics and electrical engineering degrees also from MIT. So why the research on pesticides from an electrical engineer/computer scientist? Truth be told, she and her colleague didn’t conduct any research at all. She cherry picks data, plunks it into her computer and an algorithm generates data for her. Even just saying glyphosate will cause half of ALL children to have Autism by 2025 out loud makes me roll my eyes at the absurdity of this notion. She also publishes her studies in the journal Entropy, which Im told by the science community doesnt hold any clout. She provides NO evidence for her claims. According to the CDC the recent prevalence increase [of ASD] is likely attributable to extrinsic factors such as improved awareness and recognition and changes in diagnostic practice or service availability”. We have to remember that correlation doesnt always equal causation instead of pointing our fingers at vaccines and glyphosate as the root cause of diseases.
