Have your Say Our Bridgeton High Performance Centre played host to our 2014 open day on Sunday 22 June 2014. The open day was held with the intention to provide all our members with the opportunity to input into our new 2015 – 2019 strategic plan and determine how we shape Boxing Scotland’s future. Details of this were published via our social media pages and website – We acknowledge that many of our members may not have been aware it was happening and it was not communicated widely enough, resulting in a poor attendance on Sunday. We will host a further member consultation session, exclusively allow member input into our new strategic plan on 13 July 2014 in our Bridgeton High Performance Centre between 10am and 1pm. The consultation session will be open to all delegates, registered coaches, volunteers and officials of affiliated Boxing Scotland clubs. Members planning to attend should notify the office to register. In the meantime, here are a selection of photos from the open day, at which, members of the local community mixed with our Glasgow 2014 boxers and various guest speakers including Glasgow Life Councillors Archie Graham, George Redmond and sportscotland CEO Stewart Harris.
