Haven News ****Improved as of 4/4/14, the NEW Haven introduces a number of features not seen before and upgrades the size while reducing the cost in all categories. The changes are as follows: All tunnels are now the same price when ordering the Haven. Before, small and medium were at an increased cost. The speed at which carving takes place has improved, so that cost of time has been eliminated from the product. All Havens are now two levels. Size has been increased with this feature. All Haven are now in a 9 inch x 4 inch x 4 inch container instead of the option for this larger container or the small. Size has been improved with this feature. A small water tower is now installed inside the formicarium for increased hydration capabilities. $5 is the increased price for this option. Hydration has been improved with this feature. A side entrance into the nest area is installed and plugged with a silicone rubber stopper. This is inconspicuous and adds additional cleaning opportunities and connection options. Hydration, connectiability, cleaning, feeding have all been improved with this feature. The choices for décor are now optional when ordering your Haven formicarium. Your options have been improved with the addition of this feature. Each Haven comes with 2-3 chambers coated in our proprietary Tar Heel Ants substrate. This is coating is the same used in our popular Growth Chambers and is extremely water absorbent.
