Havent done this in a while, sorry if youve missed it ;). Anyway, heres Cygans top tips for this coming weekend in fantasy football. Keepers: 1. Brad Guzan (Villa) - £5.0m. The American has kept 2 clean sheets in his last 3 games, and Sunderland have failed to score in 4 of their 6 away games this season. A great choice for keeper this weekend in my opinion. 2. Simon Mignolet (Liverpool) - £5.7m. Hes been relatively consistent this season; and with 3 seemingly not-too-difficult fixtures coming up (Hull, Norwich and West Ham) the price is probably justified for the coming weeks. 3. Wojciech Szczesny (Arsenal) - £5.5m. I dont need to tell you why I think he should be included. But 2 clean sheets in his last 3 PL games; Cardiff, Hull and Everton upcoming, I think hes a solid shout. Defenders: 1. Per Mertesacker (Arsenal) - £5.7m. Hes in outstanding form, hasnt conceded in a very long time and as we saw in the Germany game, is more than adequate at scoring from corners. My number one pick for defenders. 2. John Terry (Chelsea) - £6.4m. A slightly pricier option, but we know what you get with Terry. Games against Southampton, Sunderland and Stoke should assure a couple of points. 3. John Stones (Everton) - £4.2m. An injury to Baines should mean Stones is given a rare opportunity. Its a risk, but he is so cheap that its worth it. Stoke at home should be a clean sheet really, but tricky games against United and Arsenal mean he should only be considered a short term option. Midfielders: 1. Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal) - £7.3m. He is still the top scoring midfielder, and still cheaper than a lot of options up there, so Im sticking with the Welshman to keep a steady points total. 2. Frank Lampard (Chelsea) - £7.5m. Having just overcome his longest spell without a goal for a long time, I back him to follow it up with good performances against the 3 aforementioned Chelsea oppositions. 3. Stephane Sessegnon (West Brom) - £6.6m. It was a tough decision between him and Cabaye, but at £6.6m and the main focus of any of West Broms attacks hes a good cheap shout. They play Newcastle, Man City (at home) and Norwich. Forwards: 1. Sergio Agüero (Man City) - £12.1m. I know hes expensive, but the guys on fire, well worth it in my opinion. They play Swansea, West Brom and Southampton. 2. Loic Remy (Newcastle) - £8.1m. Hes been the heart of the Toons attack, and I think hell keep scoring, having netted twice last week against Norwich. Games against West Brom, Swansea and United should see him get 2/3. 3. Romelu Lukaku (Everton) - £7.9m. Having found his shooting boots again against Liverpool, he could well do it again vs Stoke. He also has to potential to do damage against stronger opposition, so could be kept in for the United and Arsenal games. To transfer out: Artur Boruc (Southampton). They have a lot of tough games coming up and I think there are better choices, at least up to the New Year. Leighton Baines (Everton). He picked up an injury against Liverpool and could out for a month or so, I know hes a popular choice for many players. Adam Lallana (Southampton). Same reasons as Boruc really. Roberto Soldado (Sp*rs). For some reason, a lot of players still have him in their team. Hasnt scored in a while and as a team in general theyre playing poorly. What do you think of my tips? Useful? How many of you take note of my advice? #Cygan
