Havent heard from Pete in quite awhile today. One of his partners from the fire dept just called to let me know they are on a fire and will be there for awhile! What a nice partner Pete has to let me know he is ok. I think he is on this fire not sure CalFire ordered mandatory evacuations at 5 p.m. Monday in response to a wildfire burning between Lake Nacimiento and Lake San Antonio along Interlake Road. Residents living in the Bryson-Hesperia areas must evacuate, Cal Fire said. Flames ignited at 4:12 p.m. and rapidly spread over 200 acres of wildland within an hour. The fire is in a remote area south of Lockwood and northwest of Paso Robles. Firefighters from Greenfield and other south Monterey County departments were requested to help fight the blaze.
