Having a pretty crummy day but this evening this made it so much better. Was outside letting Drake and Kymber play in the dirt, its supposed to be a flowerbed but they were having fun and Drake played with the worms and made a huge mess. An older man from up the road walked down with his cane and said he walked down and wanted to know if he could see Drake. He stood there and watched him and talked a little bit, but mainly just wanted to see the kids. He asked me if I would like a sandbox for them and said he was going to make them one. He said he is going on 90 years old. He said that it wouldnt cost me a dime, that he was paid already when he saw the kids. The neighbors behind us come over now and then to see us and the kids. The lady has such humor and her husband is a WWII vet, spent it out at sea when he was 17 years old. The kids are so lucky to be around these people to grow up here. Loving where we live :)
