Having a sister moment- pardon the extreme bragging that is about to happen.... Sarah McPharlin is incredible. Some people throw that term around; however, my sister is going to walk across the stage at the Breslin center tomorrow to get her degree from Michigan state. This was a dream that was years in the making, and like the path towards all of our dreams, there are extreme ups and downs; however, the most beautiful attribute about my sister is her ability to get up. She has been knocked down and knocked down and knocked down, but she has never, and will never, stay down. I will be a blubbering, balling, idiot tomorrow because this is something that Sarah has worked so hard for and I cannot wait to watch her strut across that stage, shake a hand, grab the diploma and say, I DID IT. Way to go!!! Your endurance and perseverance is matched by none. Against all odds, YOU MADE this dream happen and I am honored to be in the sidelines. Graduating can be overwhelming because it leads to a ton of questions of what the next step will be, but I am confident that you will always land on your feet! Whatever the world brings, you will match the required needs. To the strongest woman I know, take it all in, you have worked so hard and this day is truly a day to celebrate YOU!!! MSU here we come... We have some celebrating to do!
