Having a thinking moment xx I think the showing points system should change .. Keep conformation as it is or maybe out if 40 but for show increase to 60 .. With penalisation for wrong legs etc maybe a fixed 10 points for a wrong leg .. I. Do think that its unfair on home produced and others when ponies still win on wrong legs .. Surely should be penalised .. This year has seen a major drop I think in show scene enthusiasm and think that is because the points system isnt fair .. When most are spending there own money and not there profession in life and working 40 plus hours a week and chasing a dream at weekends to be beaten by a pony on the wrong leg or some other blip in there show . Our ponies arent machines they are expected to have a bad day sometimes ... Its very disheartening for some xxx
