Having a very hard night. It feels like I have been kicked in the gut and my heart has been ripped out of my chest. This is not an unusual feeling since Mary Grace passed but I have started having some moments of relief I guess you could say. But the thing is- it hits you so hard out of no where. I was driving to work this morning , drinking my coffee and thinking about how bad the traffic was (Grovetown traffic sucks). My mind drifted a little with good thoughts of the new puppy we are getting Ryan Friday when I felt a stabbing feeling in my stomach and couldnt swallow my coffee for the huge lump in my throat. There it was- out of no where- this terrible feeling- it just comes as it pleases. I know I am not alone. I have spoken with several mamas having a very hard time right now. I dont understand why this happened to us and it doesnt make sense but I will choose to trust God in spite of myself because that is what faith is. Believing God and His word whether we understand or not, whether we feel like or not.
