Having been on the receiving end of verbal abuse before about pointing out that someone is in a disabled parking space without a blue badge, I tried a different tactic today. As I came out of the supermarket I watched a car with a couple and two teenage kids pull into the space next to where I was parked. As I got to my car they were starting to walk away and I called out Excuse me. Youve forgotten to put your blue badge on the dashboard. Theres a traffic warden doing the rounds and Id hate for you to get a £50 fine Youve never seen anyone move a car so fast in your life.
