Having children is a heavenly paradox of sorts. Its seems as if the only mortal relationship where we give endlessly to these little people who have no practical means to repay us, at least in the conventional sense- yet, in return we get so much more. They consume our time, money, and patience. They make the nights short and the days long. They break things and constantly leave messes. Despite everything these little ones take and the emotional toll they take on me, they give back more than I have the capacity to imagine. Ask any parent how much they love their children and they might stumble to find the words. Even if they can find the words they are inadequate. If u were to ask me how I feel about my children my eyes would fill up with tears. There are no words to properly describe the love I feel for my Four children. What I have come to realize and there lies the heavenly paradox-----We love who we serve.. Service is the multiplier of Love.
