Having done specialization in English, i have come to this conclusion that there has been a trend being noticed nowadays. People follow American English instead of British English. They use words like yeah, gotta, gonna or gotcha. I feel really hesitant hearing such words. We should follow the language of Great Britain to speak correct English rather than American English which i think is spoken only for mutual understanding and nothing else.
