Having forum with students, Intellectual groupings and others stake holders as part of our ongoing public education campaign to raise understanding about the emerging Oil and Gas sector of our country. The Government of Liberia is committed to ensuring that Liberia’s potential oil and gas resources is exploited for the optimum social and economic benefits of all Liberians in order to avoid the possibility of the resource curse in this emerging sector. NOCAL is committed to ensuring that the Liberian public is adequately informed about their emerging oil and gas sector. We are convinced that our current youthful population, especially the student community are major stakeholders in the decision making process of how this emerging sector is managed today and in the future to ensure that revenues generated have significant impact on the lives of the People of Liberia. It is in this vein that we scheduled outreach sessions with mapped Jr. & Sr. High schools in Montserrado. This process is healing the anticipated results as students are ready to engage the team from NOCAL about how they feel for the country emerging Oil sector.
