Having had a loved one pass away with motor neurone disease, I just thought Id post a link describing what it is. I have seen a lot of people liking pictures of celebrities doing the ice bucket challenge but, it appears that not a lot of people know what it is all about. One FB friend posted, LOOOL! This is great and for a good cause. Its about cancer awareness or something. Im sure all the celebrities are well meaning but, a lot of people are sharing videos without knowing what it is all about. A bit like those people who liked photos of Justin Timberlake et al posting those, Bring back our girls photos and having no idea who they were actually talking about. Heres the link: mndassociation.org/what-is-mnd While I am talking about causes, I have had to defriend some people recently, as I dont need to see photos of dead children in Gaza daily. It is terrible but, I know that. I dont need to see African womens genitals being mutilated, a man bring beheaded or Asian women being hung from trees to know that this is happening. I shall resume my normal status updates forthwith ;)
