Having introduced three new songs out of the last four, Elvis returned to a song he introduced in February, the Neil Diamond classic, Sweet Caroline. Again unfortunately, the cameras seem to have been turned off here but were active again for the next song, another new song to the Elvis repertoire and one which would become an Elvis and fans favourite and a staple of his live set-list particularly at this venue. Originally recorded by the Rightheous Brothers this 60s classic was proof that Elvis could make any song his own. Elvis rendition is deceptive in that despite appearing faster the tempo is actually slower than the original and with a whole new arrangement together with Elvis stunningly raw vocal this is magnificent not to mention fun with Elvis now famous ...if this suit wasnt too tight.. but bear in mind this is the first time Elvis EVER sung this live so how new and refreshing it must have felt.................... https://youtube/watch?v=o9g9_x3QYxU
