Having trouble smelling your candle? Not likely if its - TopicsExpress

Having trouble smelling your candle? Not likely if its Candleberry, but possible. Its called olfactory fatigue or neural adaptation. Its very common. For example, here at Candleberry, people walk in and they are blown away with the fragrance and some even have to leave the building. We dont smell anything. Weve been working here long enough, we smell nothing but clear air. That is unless you are in the factory area, and you dont experience neural adaptation in that area because they are constantly pouring different fragrances. Your sensory receptors adapt to everything unless you change the circumstance. This is why we recommend keeping at least two options of Candleberry fragrances. If you want to make sure your guests are not the only ones hit in the senses with fragrance, switch it up from night to night or after several hours. OR burn one candle in one area and another in the other area. From space to space you will experience an olfactory renewal. (Never leave candles unattended and always burn them in a container large enough to catch excess. Never burn glass containers near water as the flash-change in temperature due to a water droplet can cause glass to break.)
