Hawaii Day 5. The final day. Another early morning... hah, not - TopicsExpress

Hawaii Day 5. The final day. Another early morning... hah, not really.. Think I was out the hotel by 8AM, still pretty sore from the climb yesterday. Headed over to relatively cheap parking at the Honolulu Zoo and began my walk around Waikiki. After the cache in the parking lot, my next stop was the multi-webcam cache that I had so graciously helped Nickalos Lundin with a while back. Fortunately, I knew exactly where to go and Nick already had the pages up and ready. After a quick pic at stage one I headed on to the second required cam and proceeded to finagle my way into some pictures with the statue of Duke Kamehameha. This statue is really photogenic and standing in from of it without someone there taking a picture of you just seems out of place.. Offered to take pics of other people in exchange for them taking pics of pic, which afforded Nick the opportunity to take webcam photos at the same time! It was really quite humorous. Spent my two hour parking and headed downtown for another nice walk around the Capitol. Finished my delicious, and expensive, pizza from lat night for breakfast and lunch. Got to the airport and awaited the long flight back to Florida.. 78 Hawaii caches, 25+ miles of hiking, lots of pictures (still to come...) Disappointed about the whole Big Island flight fiasco, but I certainly made the most of it. Thanks Andi Dulude for helping me find some nice places to hike and joining me on them. I know Morgan had a good time, despite not actually going on a hiking trail per se.. Now to get back to Florida, sleep a little bit and fly to Wisconsin early Friday morning..
