Hawaii Folks: If you have students that are interested in learning entrepreneurship and economics, this upcoming forum is a great opportunity for them! The goal is to educate as well as inspire the young entrepreneur. This event is free and open to students, teachers, and business leaders. Merrill Lynch Presents: iEcon 1.0 An Entrepreneurship & Economic Forum will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the UH Campus Center Ballroom from 9-11:30am. Come learn tips on becoming a successful entrepreneur from the best in Hawaii! Hawaii entrepreneurs will tell their business stories and discuss their business strategies. Hear from Jason Brand, leader of Kunia Country Farms, Henk Rodgers, founder of The Tetris Company, Randy Schoch, owner and CEO of Desert Island Restaurants, and Marty Mauro- Merrill Lynch Investment Strategist. Students attending can be entered into a drawing to spend the day with Jason Brand at Kunia Farms, shadow a manager at Ruth’s Christ Steak House, and experience a day at Cactus Bistro with John Memering.
